Emergency Procedures

In case of an emergency at The Atrium Condominiums, follow these guidelines to ensure your safety and minimize damage.

For life-threatening emergencies, always call 911 first.

For other emergencies call 360-594-7734
(the emergency after-hours line for Elite Management).

Life-Threatening Emergencies – Call 911

  • Fire – Evacuate immediately using the stairs (do not use elevators) and call 911.
  • Medical Emergency – Call 911 and provide clear details of the situation.
  • Crime or Suspicious Activity – Call 911 and report any criminal activity or threats to safety.

Urgent Situations – Contact Management

For emergencies that do not require 911 but need immediate attention, contact property management.

  • Water Leaks & Plumbing Issues – If a major leak occurs, shut off the water supply if possible and notify management immediately.
  • Hot Water Heater Burst – Turn off the water and power supply and contact management.
  • Electrical Failures – If power is out in your unit, check with neighbors. If widespread, contact management and the utility provider.
  • Fire Suppression System Activation – If sprinklers activate without fire, notify management immediately.
  • Elevator Malfunction – If stuck inside, use the emergency button to call for assistance and wait for help.

Natural Disasters

  • Earthquake – Drop, cover, and hold on. Stay inside until shaking stops. If outside, move to an open area away from buildings.
  • Severe Weather & Flooding – Secure personal belongings and follow local alerts for emergency instructions.

Building Security & Access Issues

  • Unauthorized Entry or Security Breach – Report immediately to management and call 911 if there is a safety concern.
  • Lost Key Fobs or Access Cards – Notify management for a replacement; fees may apply.

Fire Safety & Prevention

  • Never block fire exits or stairwells.
  • Do not leave cooking unattended.
  • Regularly check smoke detectors in your unit and replace batteries as needed.
  • Follow building fire safety protocols and participate in drills if scheduled.
