Proper waste disposal and recycling help maintain a clean and sustainable environment at The Atrium Condominiums. Residents are required to follow these guidelines to ensure compliance with local regulations and community standards.
General Waste Disposal
- Household trash must be securely bagged and placed in the designated waste bins.
- Do not leave trash bags or bulk items in hallways, common areas, or outside unit doors.
- If a bin is full, use the next available bin rather than overfilling.
- Large or bulky waste items must be disposed of through special collection services. Contact property management for guidance.
Recycling Guidelines
- Recycling bins are available for paper, cardboard, plastics, glass, and metals.
- Cardboard boxes must be flattened before being placed in recycling bins.
- Contaminated items (e.g., food-covered containers, non-recyclable plastics) should not be placed in recycling bins.
- Check local recycling rules to ensure proper disposal of materials.
Donation & Free Items Area
- A designated space in the garbage area is available for residents to place items they no longer need but are still in good working condition.
- Items left in this space are free for other residents to take.
- After a few weeks, unclaimed items will be donated to Habitat for Humanity.
- Only working items in decent shape should be placed in this area. Broken or unusable items must be properly disposed of.
Hazardous Waste & Special Disposal
- Items such as batteries, electronics, paint, and chemicals require special disposal.
- Do not place hazardous materials in regular trash or recycling bins.
- Contact local waste management or property management for disposal options.
Enforcement & Fines
- Improper waste disposal or failure to follow recycling rules may result in fines.
- Repeat violations could lead to additional penalties or further action.
- If you have questions regarding proper disposal, contact property management.
By following these waste and recycling guidelines, residents contribute to a cleaner, healthier community. For any concerns or special disposal needs, please reach out to property management.
